Frontier Middle School, Phases II and III
Wentzville R-IV School District, O’Fallon, Missouri
Frontier Middle School represents the first new middle school campus developed within the rapidly growing district. Master Planning identifies three distinct phases to facilitate the implementation over several years and bond issues. Phase one provides for full educational program delivery with future adjustments related to the subsequent phases. Phase one includes general academic classrooms, science labs, art and special education classrooms as well as a media center/library, computer lab and multi-purpose/cafeteria space and full-service kitchen. Administrative and counseling spaces are also included. Phase one also includes all major site development including parking, circulation drives and highway access. Phase two provides additional academic classroom wing, band music space, family and consumer science (FACS), full size gymnasium, locker rooms and support spaces. Phase three completed the master plan providing additional general and specialty academic classrooms, another gymnasium and set of locker rooms as well as additional special education classrooms required for full educational program delivery. Further site work includes additional athletic field development and a walking track.
